Lunar Cycle T-Shirts

Lunar Cycle is the latest ScienceWear fashion.  It was created at the request of Texas teachers who wanted a wearable project that would help students envision the observable shape changes of the moon during its monthly orbit around the Earth.  When students create their shirt, apron, or lab coat, they predict and demonstrate the sequence of events in the lunar cycle.  The outline for the project is pre-screened on the fabric and students fill-in the moons using a black permanent sharpie and glow-in-the-dark paint. Permanent markers and/or fabric paint can be used to color the rest of the shirt.
